Christmas Pics

Christmas was fun. The kids had a great time and wound up with to much again. Oh well, they are only little for awhile. We also went to the Make A Wish Christmas party. I love this group. they are wonderful for the kids not to mention that the Star Wars characters were there. And to top the week off Kaitlyn and I went to RAW on Wednesday and she loved it.

Introducing

As of Thursday night we are the proud parents of a 10 week old basset hound that Kaitlyn has named Snoopy. She has taken up with the whold family.

Well we are painting again. This time we are changing the living room, dinning room, and just finished the boys room. They are moving into Kaitltn's room and her into their's. Her room was bigger and there are two boys and only one Kailtyn (thank God). Will post pics of finished job next weekend when we are done.

The Great Satan

Well the Great Satan of East Tennesse found another way to save the Great Pumpkins job yesterday. Gosh I hate him. Well Vanderbilt still has one more game and chance to end the season at 500 which would be good. But for now I have to root for kentucky to beat Satan next week and end there championship game hunt. Go Wildcats, destroy the evil that lives in Knoxville

Vacation Pics

Life is SLOWLY getting back to normal

After a month of new dog, bad dog, dog bite, and daily visits to Vanderbilt, life is slowly returning to normal. Ethan's fluid around his lung is slowly going away, but not fast enough. He will probably be admitted soon to drain the rest off, we just don't know when. Kaleb's mouth is getting better. The stitches on the outside are gone and we have about 10 days left with the ones on the inside. There is a small scar but it should go away. We are once again dogless, but should get a new PUPPY (I will not adopt another again, especially with kids) We need a puppy so that it grows uo in our crazy house and is use to it. Thanks for all of the prayers. they are appreciated.

Could it get worse

If this week could not get any better, Ethan has pneumonia. He is on antibiotics and bed rest, if his breathing gets worse, then we will be at the Children's hospital for awhile. We may be there anyway today, depending on the labs that come back this afternoon. Poor Ethan does not even want to watch Dragontales, all he is doing is sleeping. So who knows what tommorrow will bring.

Sad Day

Our dog Smug died this afternoon. Kaitlyn is real upset. Smug was her best friend since she really has no friends at school, church, and no kids live in our neighborhood. She cried for awhile and we went a bought flowers for Smug and buried her in the back yard and placed the flowers with her. Smug will be missed. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

We finally made it home around 10:00 pm. We like to take our time coming home. When we got home, we found Smug, our pug, having a seizure in the kitchen. After a few minutes she came out of it. We stayed up for a while with her and she was fine. This morning when we got up she was lying in the floor having another one. This one lasted for a while and we took her to the vet. Doc thinks it might be a bacterial infection in her brain and it took 7.5 mg of valume to get it to stop, he said the prognosis is not good but we have all sorts of meds to give her, so we are on ddog watch for a while. i don't think kaitlyn can handel another animal dying since she lost Libby and Libby ann the turtle. So $300 later we still don't know what the problem is. But to make things a little worse, Ethan woke up with 102 fever and a headache. So we are having to watch him to decide if he needs to go to the ER, the life of a HLHS kid. The person watching the dog came as late as Thursday and Smug was up barking, so this is mysterious.

Countdown

One week until fall break. I need av vacation. Well we have a new cat named John Cena and he is adjusting well. Don't worry Mac is still here as well as Smug. We are offically a zoo. 2 cats, 1 dog and 3 monkeys.

I have finally found my blog again. I couldn't remember where it was when I switched computers. Tell Brad that there will pics of the new truck up soon.

Hey yall,

Thanks Shannon for the new site. I like this way better. Well, TCAP starts next week, oh what fun, I just hope my students show what they know. Other than that, I get my next Tat on Tuesday and yes it will be another horror character. This time it will be Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw. I will post pics after it is done.
